In the world of car care and maintenance, innovation has skyrocketed in the last 10 years in this outdated industry. Big brands and shop owners are finally offering a plethora of options to keep your prized possession protected and looking new. One revolutionary advancement in our car detailing world has been Ceramic Coatings.

Understanding Ceramic Coatings: A Shield for Your Vehicle
Imagine a shield that not only enhances the aesthetics of your car but also provides YEARS of lasting protection against environmental elements. No brother, this isn't your traditional wax that needs to be reapplied every few months and loses water beading by your second or third wash.
That's the magic of Ceramic Coating - there are a handful of variations and strengths but the majority of them can be defined as such... "it's a liquid polymer that forms a chemical bond with the vehicle's paint, creating a durable and glossy layer." This nano-ceramic coating is designed to shield your car's exterior from contaminants, UV rays, bird droppings, and minor scratches + swirl marks.
Unveiling the Benefits of Ceramic Coating
Ceramic Coating acts as a shield against various environmental contaminants, reducing the risk of paint damage and corrosion. With proper maintenance you can say goodbye to rust and oxidation, as this coating forms a protective layer that keeps your car looking as new as possible. Majority of consumer coatings will have an average of life span anywhere from 2-3 years with proper care. Professional grade coatings have a much higher concentrate that boosts strength & durability and have upwards of 5-10 years of life dependent on vehicle usage and care.
Oh if you love a deep, wet candy gloss look then that fits right in with the ceramic benefits. A proper showroom finish that is sure to turn heads wherever you drive.
One of our favorite bits... EFFICIENCY!!!
Bye-bye time wasting with tedious waxing and frequent trips to the car wash. Ceramic Coating makes cleaning a breeze, its hydrophobic properties repel dirt and water, ensuring that your car stays cleaner for longer.
Another advantage of these coatings are that they can be applied to rubber and plastic trims, headlights, windshield, glass, etc. Creating a richening effect of your faded trim and a deeper look on these elements.
While the initial application of ceramic coating may require an investment, the long-term benefits far outweigh the cost. With reduced maintenance needs and protection against paint damage, this coating is guaranteed to save you valuable time and money in the long run.
Protecting your car with a ceramic coating not only keeps it looking pristine but can help with resale value. Potential buyers are attracted to well-maintained vehicles, making a ceramic coating be a solid investment that pays off when it's time to sell. Plus it's such a flex when you say "Oh yeah - this car has a 3 year ceramic coating," to the buyer.

Want the benefits of a Ceramic Coating but at a lower cost?
Option 1:
Consider doing a 1 or 2 year coating - although the preparation for the vehicle still remains as extensive as it would with the long term coatings. The Sio2 (ceramic concentrate) found in these coatings are typically less and so products do come at a slightly discounted price point.
Option 2:
If your paintwork is in ideal condition you may have the option to...
Remove the Paint Correction step from the Ceramic Coating Process
this is not best practice nor does our team recommend doing this since coatings enhance gloss, depth and the finish of the paintwork
any scratches, swirl marks that are typically removed prior to application with a 1-3 Step Paint correction will be made even more visible
Yes - we advise against this practice but have seen rare occasions where clients request this to be done
